In that E3 2004 video the tracking rocket never actually destoryed the warthog fully.

It did when it propelled him into the wall which blew him up.

Are you guys serious. The tracking isn't going to take sharp right angles or anything, it's gonna slowly arc, just drive by walls and stuff. Do spins and E-Brakes with the 'hog and boosts with the covie vehicles.

The vehicles in H2 are more manuverable, the worthog turns tighter, and the other vehicles(except tank?) have speed boost. This, coupled with a slower moving rocket, makes it a good chance you can dodge the brunt of a rocket blast. But it depends on the firing angle and weather you know its coming or not! I plan on depending on the tracking rocket to blast Banshees and Skyhawks out of the air. I think air superiority must be balanced out by effective ground to air weapons, otherwise MP games would be turned into unending dogfights.

to make the rocket track, you have to zoom in and follow the vehicle, and IMO you're not always gonna have the chance to do that. Its not as if you shoot a rocket and it will zoom around the map looking for an enemy vehicle, and if you fire the launcher unzoomed the rocket just goes straight
