Subject: Please clear up this question about the skill system!

Okay so I'm playing doubles, come up against two guys, both played 118 doubles game, and won 118. Unbeaten, and we didn't change that. However they on have 35 skill!?
118 exp for 118 wins and only 35 skill?
Then later that day play some bad kid boosters who we beat that have played 50, won 38 and the kid being boosted is a 47.
How is this, it's blatantly unfair, and I know it happens to alot of people, it easier to pay some kid to boost you than to just win with a friend..

Because when someone boosts you, their record are so terrible that whenever you win, the system assumes that you're carrying the hell out of them, then you get to rank up a lot faster. Yes, it's easier to pay someone to boost you, but is it really worth it?

Gee, exploiting the system rewards you a lot better and ranking up normally is a lot harder to do? Who knew!

If you win all of your matches, then you'll rank up slower because the game thinks that you're going to win. It would be kind of pointless if everyone got the highest skill in the game in 50 games or so, IMO.

Blame Microsoft for the ranking system if it makes you feel better.

Yeah, I know how the system works, and it can be so easy for some people, but it just doesn't work IMO and I'll be glad to see the skill go as it really doesn't rep how good people are.

yeah i was reading bout the credit system in Reach and i was like, great, now little kids who do nothing but Forge round or play Campaign and Firefight are guna have Lt. Colonel ranks and guna think theyre king naughty word. then when i saw it has a hidden tru skill, i was kinda happy, besides, im only guna really play the Arena, i loved the level of competition in the Beta

yo itz seen its not microsofts problem, its bungies lol. I noticed when I'm boosting people, normally the kids are bad. Sometimes when I get really good kids who havent lost at all, if I win, my boostee goes up more than usual that game. Usually 5 or 6. I don't boost anymore though since Halo 3 is going to die. If anybody whos a legit 45 or higher wants to run 5 man teams of social slayer, hit me up on xbl - iStevoo
