What about Sweden? We have terrain that would fit perfectly in a level! We have like 70% forest, a lot of lakes (more than finland, and finland is known for its many lakes), we have mountains and in the winters there's a lot of snow you could use in a level.
We also have a lot of elks (the most productive elk population in europe, (or the world, i don't remember)). Think how fun it would be if the flood came to earth (not likely) and they took over the elks!

Antartica?
FInd some darelict Forrunner artifact burried there and have to fight the Covenant who found it after they invaded, to secure it and yeah...its just an idea, lol.

I'd also like to see action at Newport News or Norfolk, VIrginia. Those are two very important and very large naval yards for the US fleets. Now in the year 2552, I'm sure they have orbital yards called New Norfolk or New Newport News, lol but it would be solid if you got to fight in or among an unfinnished vessle of the UNSC. But then again, thats just the sailor in me talkning, lol

The world as we know it isn't likely to exist. Everything will probably have new names. They want to be politically correct ... it sells more discs.

What we will probably see, are the environments from different parts of the world. Ones we haven't seen yet, are deserts, and deciduous forests. I think a forest would make an excellent multiplayer arena.

Frankie, you will be usurped!

Well I'll come up with something universal here and say, what if the chief sees a phantom destroy a McDonalds.

MC: Killing millions of civilians is one thing, but destroying the McFlurry machine is another!

*Brings out rocket launcher and fires with anger at the phantom, destroys it, and then Ronnie McDonald comes out of nowhere*

RM: Congratulations, here have the business!

MC: Thank you! I will rename the business in honour of my initials, MCDonalds.

*I'm lovin' it music starts playing*

gha-ha, boom boom!

I don't know if this is connected in where we're going (and feel free to flame me if this is old news...), but Dana (from ilovebees.com) lives in San Francisco and went on holiday to Beijing (tells you in the Blog thing).

So maybe we're going to Beijing and maybe even San Fran?

(Just a suggestion. :D)

I gather - from speculation only - that there may be a few level/parts which are underground on earth. This just makes me think that if those levels start above ground they would't be in any urban area (just my thought). Umm... I'll say Mt Kiiamanjaro as a level (above or below ground) simply cos thats the closest mountain to their primary point of incursion.

in new mombasa, you go into sewers trying to get to marines without going through all the trouble. So is that considered underground.

I guess it is, yeah. Scratch my point about it probably not being in urban areas then.
