I'm looking into opening up a gaming arena primarily for XBOX LAN and LIVE. I'm thinking about buying XBOX's wiyh huge hardrives and just loading in the games, instead of buying 16 copies of at least a dozen different games. Does anyone Know if this is legal?

Does anyone have any cool ideas or good advice regarding this adventure I'm about to begin? I would love to hear any ideas.

You would probably have to contact MS to see if they have special terms or Xboxs for this sort of setup. They might give you special deals for XBL and games.

Errr...xbox's only come with one size hard drive. Yes, I know that you can put your own in...but I'm pretty sure you can't just "load" games onto it anway. So there would be no point. I'm thinking you'd have to buy "16" copies of every game.

I think that loading one copy of the game on many consoles is border line in terms of legality..

I doubt that the good people of Bungie would have you "copy" the game many times over.

On the other hand, if nothing legally stands in your way, by all means do so!

Around Paris (France) if you can ;)

Ask Microsoft i'm sure they will be happy to help, or try to contact bungie about how to ask MS.
Great idea, where is it?

What SLAVE is referring to it buying a modded xbox on ebay with games on it. I dont think Bungie wants us talking about how to steal xbox games on their forum.

To find a legal way you might want to call MS, though I dont see them helping you much unless they're gonna make money off it.

Awesome idea though.

Yeah, I already emailed Microsoft through their XBOX forum, hopefully they read it. I understand I need to get some kind of liscensing agreement I just need to find out how.

And to the guy asking where I'm going to open up in Ontario, OR.
