Noble team should let John Shepard into there team, he would be N7....

I finished the game last year and ever since have been confused about this one cinematic, it shows Sergeant Johnson taking the Elites weapons and giving them to the Marines and the Arbiter taking the Marines weapons.
I am just wondering why they were doing this.

I am Harpuia, Ventus Airus

I think they were just giving the best weapons of both groups to the soldiers going to the ark.

It doesn't matter if your black or white. All that is important is that we hate eachother...

They were just forcing both sides to cooperate by taking each others weapons.
Johnson: Yeah I took your weapon, beeyatch, do somethin'!

It seemed it was a show of teamwork or something. In the books it was highly emphasized that covies don't use human guns, they would rather fight barehanded then pick up the dam BR right infront of them. So this is kind of a big deal...storywise.

This.

They were trying to build a unity between the ex-enemies by making them fight with each others' weapons. Cause some empathy and whatnot.
