On my walk-in-the-park halo1 legendary spree, I came across a very strange glitch - I think this is how it works... When you are in the hangerbay, go up to the third level, then drop down to the second level and press the holo panel for the left door in the bay, rescue keyes and then at the part where your discussing how your going to get off the ship there is a white out and you win - THE DOOR BAY IS ALREADY OPEN! I was just preparing for grunts to rush out and needle keyes when it happened!

I just want to confirm if this actually works and if I've done it correctly. I was meant to get some more marines by letting foehammer in, but I think it doesn't work if you've already been to the third level... anyway the door was open and when I got the objective to escape it just ended. Strangely enough, when you finish it properly, the holopanel on the third level opens the door 0.o

Also, is keyes invincible? He didn't die once and it was on legendary! Hmm, maybe I was too far ahead :)

Its not really worth it, its only a short walk to the hangerbay anyway, its still clever... You should try legendary - it rocks! But watch out, on the t&r about 3 zealots jump you as soon as you enter the ship! (at different intervals though) When I did it on coop there were only stealth elites... or was that heroic? Anyway legendary kicks buttox in halo1, on halo2 its way too hard. Theres always a hallway that you can back into when your outnumbered on the t&r :) but sometimes that pissed off zealot chases you in there and you have to non-scope him before he gets too close :O not a happy thought.

Whenever I back into a hallway, one of those stealth guys melee-attacks me. But yeah, that's a cool glitch.

Keyes is not invincible. If he dies, then you lose.

I for one don't really like skipping parts of the game. I will see if this glitch works, but only out of curiosity. I enjoy fighting every battle, even ones that you can easily run past.
