I'm not a Major for that long yo. I'd probably have a commander by now if I owned an xbox and a copy of the game.

Also, all games do have some form of competition, BUT you should only take that competition so far.
If you think competitive play is more important than fun play, then you're no fun player.

People will take competition as far as they damn well want to, Tsquared signed a $250K contract with Dr Pepper, he wouldn't have gotten that if he didn't play Halo 2 competitively, obviously we're not all going to sing 250K contracts but, that's the same as saying there is no point in playing football for your school or local football ground because its unlikely any of you will aspire to play professionally.

The competition is what makes the game fun, and that's why we do it.

Can you get on the MLG Web Site? Over the last week the server has been down.

Wow. I have never read anything more irrelevant.

Nice counter argument [/Sarcasm], I don't see how it was irrelevant, I countered your argument as to why competitive play is not fun, explain it to me...

Get ya popcorn and eat the thickest dick if you think I would waste time lyin to any of u.

How is this even an acceptable thread? MLG is an organization that creates a competitive atmosphere and holds tournaments with cash prizes. The people you may find in matchmaking that hold themselves to these ''major league'' standards are likely to be very selfish, but at the same time they put lots of effort into the game.

That said, there is nothing to hate about Major League Gaming itself. However if you have a problem with the members of their community I'm sure you can deal with them over on their forums.
