Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

I heard some one talking about "dirtying" weapons and "drop spawns", what are these and what are they for?

Say for example if your playing MLG, the sniper spawns at 12:27, but if you pick it up right when it spawns, or pick it up as it drops it will mess up the spawn time for the next drop. If you wait 3-4 seconds after the the sniper drops, you wont "dirty" it.

If you pick up a weapon as it spawns, it makes it so its not consistent anymore. Like if a sniper spawns every 2 min and you pick it up as soon as it spawns, it may take 3 min instead.

Okay, thanks for the answers, I hope they have fixed this in Reach then.

That... is really weird. I wonder why that happens.

So you heard I slayed a Balrog?

The game treats a weapons that spawns in the air and falls to the ground as if a player dropped it. For the timer to start if must sit still for 2 seconds. If you grab the weapon before it hits the ground the timer for it will not start until you stand still for 2 seconds. This can be used strategically.

why would the fix it? its great to have sneak into the enemy base dirty there weapon then boom they have no idea when it will come up and now your team has the advantage there is also a way to control the new spawn of the dirtied weapon but thats a different discussion all together
