Hey does anyone have a server up that I can jump on? Gamespy servers lately have been giving me the "error can not connect to the gamespy master server" message when i try and refresh the server lists. Can someone give me a direct IP or server name so I can get a game in its been almost 2 weeks since my last game O_O.

Or can someone tell me why gamespy servers suck so much or how I can resolve this "error".

My game is up to date so it not an issue of updating.

Hmmm I tried forwarding my ports and I have disabled my firewall and run as administrator but I still can connect I'll keep on trying with your steps because your solution is better thought and written out then others.

The Cannot Contact the Gamespy Master Server Error is usually associated with network connection issues.

Are you using a modem or wireless router?

Do you use a wireless connection or a wired connection to connect to the internet?

If you have a Cable modem or DSL modem connected to a wireless router then you need to forward the ports for the wireless router and not the modem.

Also you can check to see if the correct ports are open using the Port Checker utility available for download here:
