Am I the only one who does this: Playing a FFA game, and you go up to someone and don't kill them - rather, you two work as a team. It's a lot of fun, especially when you... accidentally betray someone. Works better on vehicle maps.
Obviously it's best to play this in social as your K/D spread really goes down...
Anyways, I was wondering if other people ever did that/seen it happen.
It would be really cool if there was a gametype in Halo Reach that encouraged this..

this is incredibly dumb. If you want to play teams, play teams. What's the point of this?

Because it's not set teams, you're free to make whatever groupings and sizes you want.
Also, there's always the chance someone will betray you. It's just a different experience. Haven't you ever played a custom free for all with friends and created random teams?

meh, sometimes when im second in oddball, i'll protect the guy with the ball. or if someone gets loads of time with it at the start i'll try and keep him alive
