MVP has no meaning and actual benefits... it's there for bragging rights, and yes, the H3 ranking system isn't the best, just gotta keep trying
Actually MVP does give you something in team games.
It gives the highest spot of your team. Even if you lose, you won't be skilling down that bad compared to the rest of the team.
Just stop talking you know nothing about the ranking system. MVP does absolutly nothing for you or against you. Personal preformance does not affect your rank at all. The only thing that matters is if you win or lose. Dont try to give people bad advice, bad advice from bad players is why there are so many stupid people in halo
I don't give bad advice. MVP makes a difference.
Let's take Team Slayer. 4 vs 4, means 8 players to divide over 8 spots.
One team loses, 1 wins. Let's say Blue Team loses, but the MVP is from Blue Team.
He lost sop he's spot 5 - 8, MVP makes him 5th place.
Trueskill takes your curent skill and compares it to the skill of all players and it which place you've ended compared to the other players (which makes K/D useless).
5Th place therefor loses less skill than 6 - 8 places.
Don't ever tell me I'm a bad player, -blam!-.
You are retarted, and you are a bad player. The only thing the MM system looks at is your stigma vs the other teams stigma. If you have a high stigma then you will go up faster as well as go down faster. You gain stigma by having a high win:loss ratio, how you preform in the particular game has no bearing on how your stigma is affected. If you lose and have MVP you will go down just as fast as the rest of your team.
