I personally believe in Map Knowledge. I don't care if your BR skill is phenomenal, if you can't get to me because I have the high ground, I think I have you beat.

It really depends. If your playing with a bunch of 50's, obviously both will help. But if your normal mid level game, being able to know where the power weapons are and abuse them will guarentee you a victory more likely than not.

Let me rephrase.

Fun for everyone.

Ever heard of repetition? Yeah, driving a mongoose round in circles gets boring after a while, so does drawing every game.

Accomplishing a challenge is what makes a game fun.

OT: Weapon skill, if I cant hit you then there is no point in knowing where you are.

Nope you are wrong, that's why you have a negative k/d and a rank that would make a monkey blush, not having a go at you, some people are better than others, but that's kind of my point.

Negative k/d?

LERN2MATH

You see with posts like this you just make yourself look foolish.

Anything under 1.00 is a negative k/d, which both of yours are.

There's this hilarious story that has been agreed as fact in math-world (part of science, big boy stuff).

Anything below the number zero, thats: 0, is seen as negative.

Hilarious detail, anything between 0 and 1, my k/d is part of that, is regarded as POSITIVE, that's everything 0+.

For starters I am not a big boy, I am 28.

For afters, your k/d is less than 1 and hence you die more than you kill, but I guess given my k/d is 4 something I don't have a clue what I am talking about, right?

Ok actually in terms of a ratio if the second portion is higher than the first then it is considered to be a negative ratio. So when you have a .50 k/d you would get a 1:2 ratio. Therefore you would get 1 kill for every two deaths making the end result of your k/d a negative number

There's stil this thing called mathmatically incorrect, which your statements are.

Are you kidding me?

Look, let me spell it out for you, these are your stats:

Kills: 3761

Deaths: 4143

Notice how you have MORE deaths than kills?

Hence less than 1, hence you have a negative k/d ratio.

I DO RESPECT YOUR POINT OF VIEW
I personally believe in BR skill rather than map knowledge (wich is of course important) even having the high-ground doesnt give you a clear advantage remember BR is more than lead your shots (straffing jumping crouching)

what will happen if you face a TRUE MLG 50 or SWAT 50 (or somebody with a decent BR skill) even having the highground if you cant land a shot on him you will die

and remember if you are in the highground you are a more visible objective so everybody will be chasing or shoting you even having a rocket launcher or another power weapon you`ll get killed by the other team without killing somebody

  • 08.25.2010 11:20 AM PDT

well it's more a 50/50 split.

if you dont know yor way around a map then can easly be beaten.
if you know your way around a map but dont have the skill then u can be beaten.

combine the 2 and its alot harder to get killed.

Less than 1 =/= negative.

Less than 0 = negative.

I'm done, this is as simple as I can say it.

No, you are right, I am clearly a fool for espousing the notion that having more deaths than kills would be a negative ratio.

Just one quick question, given you are clearly so much smarter than everybody who is telling you that you are wrong.

How in terms of a ratio of kills to deaths, do you have less kills than zero?
