Dear, Bungie. I thank you for the years of fun with this "great" game of Halo 3. It's so addicting that no matter how bad it gets I can't stop playing. As you can imagine, I have some thoughts..

First, I'd love to tell you how happy I am to see Reach, an upgraded Halo game with less BS being implemented into the online circuit. I can't wait to be able to actually defend myself using a skill gap when spawning instead of being stuck with the spray-n-pray 5000 Assault Rifle.

I'd love to know whose genius idea it was to start most online matches with a fully automatic noob cannon instead of requiring skill to kill people in a game. Halo CE had Magnum sidearms, and it was fantastic. Then, suddenly, you decided to dumb everything back down to nothing and have SMG starts, then evolving into Assault Rifles, an even easier weapon to use. I would love to have your job, weapon designer guy. It must be great to snort cocaine and drink coffee all day while brainstorming the worst ideas you can think of into a game. You must be the same jerk off who thought "Crazy King" was a fun gametype. Well done!

I am so excited for Reach, because it seems like Bungie has actually decided to make a game WITH a reasonable skill gap instead of giving any clown the ability to run in with an AR and spray his way to victory.

Good job learning from your mistakes, Bungie guys. <3

I saw the title and thought what was the idea all about? But I read what you had down and i guess it's true. Halo 3 online had almost three happy years of progress when most other games would have died. With the addition of Reach and the new and improved Firefight, as well as campaign and regular online matches, I have to say I'm looking forward to, possibly, a more popular and just stronger game made by Bungie themselves.

The only bad thing about the game is the host/connection issues.

Everything else is painfully easily avoidable.

true, but the connection issues won't be that much of an issue to ruin the whole gaming experiance.

Easily avoidable to an extent. It's still annoying to be randomly AR rushed. When someone gets the first shot on you and you have a BR in your hands, switching to your AR isn't going to help you unless the person is that bad.

Bungie's logic for the Assault Rifle is flawed.

If you dislike getting AR rushed there are a few things you can do.

1. Play MLG
2. Pickup a BR and stay mid range away from everyone
3. Grenades are your friends
4. Strafe and move backwards at the same time
5. Stick the guy
6. Stop playing social

I know easier said than done but
