On September 25th, 2007 I loaded up my copy of Halo 3 for the first time, played a campaign mission, and quit out of it for matchmaking before it was over. From the first game I enjoyed the gameplay and never disliked it. Over the last 3 years I've managed to work my way up the ranking system. 09/25/07 -> 04/20/09 got me 2000 experience and a highest skill of 45. Two thousand games won, and hundreds of hours spent pwning noobs. Unfortunately, because Bungie are complete -blam-holes, they made such an awesome game that 2000 wasn't enough. from the time i hit my Brigadier grade 3, exactly 1 year later I had managed another 2000 experience, but still missing out on that elusive highest skill 50. I'd made it to Brigadier general, and was basking in all of my shiny gold bar glory. The MLG fans laughed at it, but were shut up shortly after the game started and they were losing. (weird, huh?). When the only way to increase my rating was to get a highest skill of 50, thats exactly what I charged out to do. Playing nothing but ranked, within a week I realised that I could have gotten it all along, because for me it really wasn't that hard. So now, at this point, I've got myself the highest skill in the game. What more could I do? Well, I checked my service record and it told me my next promotion was at 5000 experience. So, I went for it. Planning out my game time per day, I estimated that on my current 'schedule' of playing Halo, I'd hit 5000 exp just before Reach came out.
Well, I'm a bit early, but after 1065 days, 5000 experience, and endless fun, I see what I've been waiting for:
Austex360
Spartan - T96
5 Star General
Highest Skill Achieved: 50
Experience [EXP]: 5000
Next Promotion: Cannot increase rating
Great Journey: Completed
