enjoy the silence

That's what I say: "This account has already been hacked - from me. You can't re-hack an hacked account." After that: silence... :)

They cant do anything with your ip address can they? Making me scared. Cause any person you meet could be a hacker then.

I laugh at them because they cant.

Dont be that sure ...

Now Gary, lets see - the 72 (off flax) would be from the lacrosse number. Mothers name - picked up off that old phone number (482-1615) but Canada whitepages can hook in a little more recent.

Thats 4 identity points, bluff ur way through the secret xbl question (which less than 23% of people remember anyway).
Bingo.

Now if ur every used a c/card to buy online via ur xbox ... transfer account and the card #/exp date comes with it.
Double bingo.

HaHaHa, wow.

Ok first of all, I laugh at you for creating this useless topic and needing help from us on how to deal with "hackers." You are probably a little kid that actually takes people seriously on XboxLive (which is sad). But in all honesty, they won't hack, they can't hack you.

That is all the reason why it is sad that you actually believe them and was determined enough to going on a website and ask.

By the way, what I said was a lie. I WILL HACK YOU WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK!!!!!!

I'm out.

Suggest better accounts than mine to hack.

  • 08.26.2010 6:52 AM PDT

I take it you're here for a reason?

A memorial to my H3 guy by:Do The D3w

Ask them if they can come up with a better threat.

Which is why I keep my accounts completely payment method free. Everything I buy on LIVE is done with prepaid point cards purchased in unmarked, non-sequential cash.

Seriously though, that's my solution- if you're really worried about the possibility of getting hacked and you're not convinced password security is enough, just make your account not worth hacking. If someone were to take mine, all they'd get is a 40 LW with some achievements, Monkey Island, and Megaman. Also, they'd need to pay for gold again.

Of course, this is assuming that hackers are something to be worried about, and for the most part, they are not (or rather, most people claiming to be able to hack your account really can't.)

Laugh at them and call them a nerd.

RIP Logan ~B.B.

Invite them to a custom game, then boot them. Leave the party open so they can join back screaming, repeat until you get bored with it or they give up. Then block communications and go on with your life.

Join Kustom Kings today for help, fun, and achievments! It is a new group so tell your friends and we can get growing!

Laugh and ignore them because they probably can't hack you...

Except for when a real nerd gets your IP and hold you offline at random times in the day.

So probably not a good idea unless you are pretty confident they can't do something like that.

The hacking stuff I usually laugh at but I'm pretty wary of random people getting my IP.

Under the sign of the Cobra

Taunt them in their futile efforts. I just tell them, "Feels Good Man."

If they were gonna do that, they would already have it. (I usually get such threats after a game or some form of interaction) An IP address is public info. If someone wants it, it isn't hard to get it. On the bright side, it's usually not hard to get a new one if they do attack it.

Playing Halo 2 Vista and Halo 3 until Halo 5 comes out.

My 0.02 K/D KiDs

Never touching ranked alone again on H3 after 2010. :)

Tell them to do it?

  • 08.26.2010 8:42 AM PDT

I'd like to be half-man half-tree in an octopus' garden in the shade.

I usually say something like "Lol, good luck trying!"

Then I block them. And then surprisingly my account never gets hacked.

  • 08.26.2010 8:44 AM PDT

you mean my email password?

  • 08.26.2010 12:16 PM PDT

Tell them you'll have a quiet word with their mum next time your in bed with her.

If you get threatened by said 'hackers' what is the best way to deal with said threat? I have recently been threatened in this way. What do I Do?

I laugh at them, practically beg them to do it, and sometimes add a clever insult to their mother while I'm at it.

Of course, I also tend to change my password. I already change my password monthly. But during one of the 'ima hack burrito' fads? I do change it sooner.

I see that I was a bit late with the mum joke.

btw I have a custom security system on my router, will this help? O and another thing is, I am not a little kid, just cautious and fairly new to xbox live. MOST of you can understand caution, I presume.
