Lately I've come across so many ignorant halo players. I mean ok, it's fun to trash talk and all - but there are some players that just take it WAY to far. What happen to the good ol' H2, early H3 days?

Don't get me wrong, not all players are ignorant - I've made loads of great friends from matching making, but every other game I come across a Jerk-Wad (Sorry Bungie ^.~) What happened to most players?

... If anyone wants to share go right ahead :).
Or if anyone can explain this to me, great.

Ihavent played much halo throughout my years but they just think its funny when its actually nott.
They think they're bettter just because they've played it longerrr.
Haah I play FFA to get away from that (PLus its easier to lvl for me:P)

Lol, I agree... but that's really no excuse for the attitude problems, most of the loud mouth players are not very good - and yet they keep blabbing on and on about how you could die like that, how you sound, how you play, even your rank.. you know - it's a bit pathetic I think.

The casuals left years ago, and took all traces of fun with them. Only the "h4rdc0re" were left.

This

In 2008 i made good friends by playing some ranked/social with them, but now it's only trash talking, fake 50s in social, try harding....well i still have friends i play with but the community has changed.

Those nice people are possibly playing mw2.

Hates to love and loves to hate.

If you don't mute them you have no right to complain.

My Gamertag is Mr Naughty Body.

I may be short, but my heart is tall.

I play Social mostly, so I run into some fun people. There are always the -blam!-s though, and the internet will always be that way.

Well Majin.. When you're playing 47+ in Ranked matches you need comunication to get anywhere, so muting is totally out of the question.

Although, I do mute in Social :3.

Are you implying I don't play anything 47+?

I know communication is a key factor in success at high levels, but how is some guy yelling at you being a good communicating teammate. Some guy being a douche bag isn't going to do anything but piss you off and distract you.

Majin, I never said you do not play anything 47+..I used it as a point. Second, I don't remember saying yelling teamates are good communicators for the game.
Even when those loud mouthed players are in there fits, they do use call outs - it is not a blab fest for the whole game. Either way, they're ignorant.
