enjoy the silence

I played Action Sack, Team Rockets on Assembly, accidentally betrayed my team mate (sorry, it's a small map and rockets are rockets!), got booted and the score of my EXP Penalties went from -16 to -17.

Action Sack means I can't earn EXP, so why do I lose one if I don't quit and get booted? :)

i guess its just part of the matchmaking grand design to have your exp taken away when you quit.

fear me, for i am pro sauce

action sack + win = no exp

so being booted from action sack shouldnt make you loose any exp

but that's not how it works.

Any time you don't finish a game ( a DNF)you lose 1XP, regardless of whether you quit/ lagged out/ booted/ betrayed you will lose 1XP.

Dont worry ... the quit ban in reach will take care of this.

You're not good at Halo either.

Problem was people quit like 90% of the games if they didn't like, couldn't be bothered to play or wanted to keep their records good.

This meant Bungie had to change it so the dedicated fans can keep their playlist nice and friendly.

That's what happens when you betray your teammates. Be more careful next time.

Same thing happened to me on Valhalla when I accidentally ran over my teammate with the Mongoose. I guess I ruined their spree, which is why they booted me. -_-

eh rules are rules but i can sympathize with you. I've had the same thing happen to me once or twice but its still only 1 exp. You should be fine

I'll try, but... :)

That's how it happened: I had a clear line of sight to the enemy. I fired the rocket. The rocket flew towards the enemy. My teammates jumps from below into my line of sight and - of course - in front of the rocket. BAMM. Betrayal. Booted :)

- A Grazing Panda

Well it is only ONE experience point, so it shouldn't take you 5 minutes to get that back.

But I hate kids that immediately boot you when you accidently betray them. What jackasses.

Apparently people like the "X" button over the "B" button, most of the time I forgive everyone Because it probably was an accident, but almost none I ever "betrayed" thinks that way :/

Thats why once I know its a Rockets game, I say sorry for the betrayals in the pre game lobby!

I hate people who boot teammates when its clearly an accident

If u played selfishly u deserved it. Too often i see novice players (in the hopes of getting most kills/MVP) spamming rockets toward the enemy without any awareness or regard for their teammates location.

Don't shoot a rocket at an opponent when u have teammates in close proximity to him. Even if u don't kill your teammates, u will at the very least take down their shields. If you play smart u won't betray and u will not be booted.
