Subject: No Halo 2 Flair, Really?

I know this will have probably been discussed, but I couldn't find an appropriate thread to put it in.
Do Xbox Original Games appear in your Recent Games? If the Marathon: Durandal "Name Plate" is activated by the Recent Games, why can't the Halo 2 Flair be setup like this? If not, why not have it like Recon, and change the criteria to "Play Halo 2 online before it was taken offline OR have the Complete Legendary Achievement unlocked?
This makes it harder for those that don't own Halo 2 yet to get it, and makes it easy for old fans to get it.
This could be the same for Halo 3, making it "Play Halo 3 online before Halo: Reach was released OR complete the campaign on Legendary"?
I think this could work great, if you can do this with Xbox Original Games?!
Thanks,
Joseph Duffy

I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

That's the point of the nameplates. It's supposed to give dedicated Bungie/Halo fans a way to show off their dedication.

I understand that, which is why you'd need the achievement to get it. You're either an old die-hard fan, or, you're a skilled player who was only recently introduced to Halo.

What? Why would we want a recently introduced player to get the flair?

Eat, Sleep, Row

I don't know. Bungie apparently didn't have aything to do with Halo 2 Vista so I don't know about the achievement part. The Halo 3 one doesn't matter, It has a full game history on Bnet. I really wish they could go by Halo CE on the game history, I wouldn't have to go buy Halo PC (even though CE multiplayer will be awesome).

Halo 2 vista doesn't count towards the flair, and Xbox original games don't show up on your gamercard online, only your local recent played list on your console.

My alternate Bungie.net account is named 'Mintagical'.

Woe me for getting Halo 2, the day before the original LIVE servers were switched off =|

The point is that old players get it, and newer (Or older fans that didn't play online) must work for the flair by completing the game on Legendary! ;)

New players that have just been introduced to halo don't really deserve flair. Old players who never played on XbL, that sucks really bad.
