Sigma is sleeping. But he somehow logged into Bungie.net only 3 days prior to his account being deleted... odd.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

American Dream? How is spending hours monitering a highly used website the American Dream? :P

I swear on this piece of Gouda cheese that he had at least one more month left before his account got deleted.

Meh... I don't remember what the length of time is. I assumed 90 days, but I guess it could be 120. Oh well.

I spend way too much time here to know that it's 120 days. I could name two or three old members who have not logged in for 90 days and still don't have their accounts deleted.

its 120, and i think one of my friend told me that Achronos said that even the days limit wont do anything to mod's. He said that it doesnt affect them. or something like that.

Thankfully, i dont know who he is. I just started using my account more frequently as of July.

Sleeping?

More like hibernation. Moderators are creatures that must sleep during the cold of the winter. In preperation, they become more hungry and aggressive so that they can gain a thick layer of blubber to last them the winter.

  • 09.17.2005 8:21 PM PDT

I'll be on my own side.

Some have more blubber than others ;)

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Sleeping Mod, crouching Sigma.

No, it affects everyone. For example, yeroen was just recently deleted, and he is Bungie Staff, was the 2nd person to make a Bungie.Net account, and he also founded The Marty Army (the first chapter on Bungie.Net), and Chapter Founders. This is probably because making the mods exempt would require more coding, and the chances of a mod not logging in for 120 days is very low.

Its all a conspiracy.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

It seems so. I know marinealver only went there to see who the new mods are and noticed Sigma's title, but there are apparently a good number of people who wish to be smited. ;-)

Of course. Ever since the aliens sent their holographic message to Bungie warning that the Sleeping Mod may wake and destroy reality as we know it, a crack team of Bungie staff (selected by fierce competition) has been working to make sure this doesn't happen before the Yarro arrive and transport him into the sun.

What, you thought the Pentathalon was for kicks?

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Did you just wake up marinealver? It's been like that for ages. Has he been active on halo babies? i don't know. I think Anton's right.
