You can use a wired Xbox 360 controller, but you will have problems with the movement joystick, as Halo CE uses digital controls and the joystick is analogue (movement is either on or off, no blending between directions or speed).

There is software you can download to help limit this problem. I can't remember the name.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

What Skibur said.

You can use one but it'll never be the same as playing Halo:Ce on the Xbox and even downloading the software (Which I also can't remember the name of) only helps a little and it'll never really "work" the way you would like.

To fully enjoy Halo PC you're better off learning how to use Mouse and Keyboard.

Does anyone even look at these?

Well, from my personal experience of using a controller it works okay, but I find I'm actually better with mouse/keyboard despite my Xbox Halo prowess.

Well, this helps me. Looks like I'm better off sticking to the ol' mouse 'n' keyboard.
