You can play Xbox Halo 1 online. Try using XBConnect. You have to have this software running on your pc. But.. you gotta have a broadband connection, modem and/or router. The better your speeds the better the game will play.

i didnt know that i think when bungie is done making the games for halo (God forbid) they should release halo 1 with live enabled. just a thought

Moving this from Zanzibar to the Library, as it's a Halo 1 topic.

People have made "tunneller" programs to play System Link games over the Internet; I'm certain that the guys in the Library (who know far more about this than I do) would be happy to go over the finer points and even help you find the software needed to play. It's not as simple as just pluggin the 'Box into the wall, but it can be done.

-- Steve never did get Halo for the Xbox... just for the PC, which is a whole lot different in network play.

i know absolutly nothing about computers (not my thing) i was wondering if halo 1could be played on line, you can link 2 xboxs to play halo1, so why not link 1 xbox to a phone line and another xbox to a phone line the other end... possible? or am i way off?

please dont just rip the p155 out of me
