But, seriously, think about it. If that kid (the murderer) was that disturbed, if it wasn't the game, something else would've set him off and he would've killed somebody else anyway.
Hey, that's what I said in that last topic! Not that I mind, just mention that you got it from somewhere else. Or something.
And I think blaming video games for murder is total bull-blam!-. Can video games have an influence on how people perceive things? Absolutely. But the same applies to movies, books, the media, and even some sports (hockey, maybe?). Also, it all depends on the mental stability of the person involved, and if they can't handle a silly little game without going bonkers and deciding they need to be like the game and kill someone, then goddamnit, don't let them get the game!! Parents need to have some kind of control over their kids. I play violent video games, and really enjoy them, but I wouldn't kill anyone unless it was in self-defense or it was someone who was raping a little kid or something and I just got mad.
Sorry about the rant there, but that's just how I feel.
Oh, yeah. I remember copying it and was going to give you credit but I forgot. sorry ;)
go ahead and rant. to a certain extent. I don't want this to get locked by a mod.
Would you really kill a child molester? I'd stop him from doing that awful crime, beat the crap out of him and let them take him to prison, so he could become the -blam!- of all the tall, mean black guys named Bubba.
hahahaha don't drop the soap, petefile... hahahaha
