Guide to immortality : Sleep with Life

I had a pretty big time thread once.

Here's me bragging about it.

If I let my friend borrow Halo 3 ODST and he installed it onto his hard drive, could I play with him?

Would of asked on ODST forum but I don't like to wait a year for a response.....

No, you still need the disk to play installed games legally.

Life is too short to spend it putting down others. Make the best of it.

Sorry, microsoft specifically thought of this when they implemented the new dashboard/ programming. If you want to download a game to your xbox, this is entirely your choice. The performance of your xbox is enhanced, however you will still need your original disc to play whichever game your downloaded to your xbox. Sorry, I wish I could do this at times as well. Looks like playing on the same xbox is the way to go! Haha

You can use your account to buy an arcade game on his xbox and play with him. Its licensed to both your account and his xbox. Me and my friend did this with Street Fighter 2.

Yeah, but then the problem is that it isn't licensed to HIS xbox, which makes problems if he changes gamertags.

Thanks to all responses. I told my friend no but he insisted on me asking.
