Argh, I be thinking music be a way for intellegent expression of one's inner thoughts and feelin's. Why take a man's music and make him a souless landlubber. It arrrrren't right me matey, not a all.

LellowBeard has a good point, let's all listen to him!

This dicussion reminds of the scene in Tommy Boy where the two were changing radio stations and came across some weird song. Anyways, I suppose it was a girlie song and neither of them wanted to change the channel. Next thing you know, they're singing and crying. Then the hood pops open on the car and.. you can guess what happens next.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

i THINK PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FORUMS IN THE sEPTAGON SHOULD BE BANNED.!!!

Does that sound fair?

No, so the music should stay

Sorry, but banning discussion about music isn't a good idea. Any discussion about politics or religion has about(in my opinion) a 95% chance of turning into a serious flame war, in real life, or on a forum. Music, on the other hand, has the same chance as any other normal discussion. Meaning it usually doesn't turn into a fight. Someone earlier in the thread mentioned being less lenient about flaming. I think that's the route that should be taken.

Wow. I think this is the first time I've posted outside of my groups or The Flood since I joined.

Most of the music threads I have seen, eventually turn into a flame war.

It's not that serious, I like Little Rat's idea of just having the mods crack down on flaming more.

I think that idea would be much better than banning music altogether.

Yeah, a ban is going a bit too far. Cracking down on flaming is a much better idea. Go Little Rat!!!!!!!!

Today, you have to bring someone down to make yourself higher I guess.

You used to be able to talk about music casually. Telling others why you like or don't like a certain type of music. At least, thats the way it used to be on the old b.net.

You mean before halo2 brought the bad crowd in.
