Hi. I just need some urgent help. My friend accidentally took my copy of Halo 3 and when it got back to my house, it would not work. I went and got any scratches buffed out and put it in the tray. It started with a green screen, but you can still get to the main menu. When I try to Forge or play multiplayer, it says "Players failed to load content". What can I do? I am leaning toward just buying a new one.

First, make sure it's the disk and not something else by trying another game.

Second, if you could see visible scratches, that's not a good sign, and how you buffed them makes a big difference.

Third, if you own ODST, don't buy a new Halo 3 disk for forge or multiplayer.

That is if you preordered ODST not own it, just a little correction.

Um... ODST has forge and multiplayer no matter when you bought it. It's called the Mythic Disk.
