I guess it depends on your definition of "dead."
To me a dead forum is one where the posters seem to only try to entice others to help them get the latest achievement. Or a place where someone expresses their actual feelings and gets beaten down by successive posts telling them how 'stupid they are.'
If a dead Forum is one where a handful of diehards remember each other's names and pm here and there...sharing their love of the actual thing and occasionally branching off topic for the sake of understanding...that's a dead forum I want to be a part of.
Reminds me of an old group I was in...Halo Overlords. We all knew each others' names, kept it afloat...barely. One day, a few of them never signed in again, and the group died.
Well, even if that dread day does come (and I hope/think Bungie won't let it), it's been a privilege to learn just a small bit more about Canada and communicate with someone who loves Dead Space as much as I. Has been great fun talking turkey with you, chicken. You know and loves your CE. Me too.
