Subject: Question about graphics, and sharp lines.

Okay, so I have a Samsung SnycMaster 920NW, it's resolution is 1440x900, in display settings on my xbox, I have the resolution set to that, and the reference level to intermediaite, yet when I play halo 3, the edges of the level geometry weapons ect, have sharp edges/lines...

Is this for everyone, or just me, and how do I fix it, and what reference level should my xbox be set to? Does my monitor just not haev anti-aliasing or what?

Nope, your monitor is fine, Halo 3 is scaled up so you'll get those horrible jagged lines on anything not horizontal or straight. It's something Standard Definition users don't have to worry about because their televisions are lower resolution than the games maximum resolution. However, full 1080p HD televisions are much higher than Halo 3s max resolution, so you'll get that.

I think the problem will be somewhat diminished in Halo Reach, but not completely.

I plugged it into my HD TV, and it isn't there, but when I use my monitor cable, and plug it into my umm.. monitor, it is jagged >.>

I tried to adjust sharpness, no luck. I wonder whats wrong?

I hate playing on my HD tv though. I just don't play as good for some reason >.>....

Halo 3 is upscaled from 720p. Plus Halo 3 doesn't utilize any sort of anti aliasing.
