They call me Obsidian.

This game would have been way better if they had made the logical plot twist.

Namely, the Squad never existed. Buck and the others. Because think about it, the Rookie never found any REAL evidence. He only found random pieces of equipment. He would find like a bent sniper rifle or a used Biofoam kit, and then, what, he INSTANTLY knows EXACTLY what happened?

I know it's poor storytelling, but Bungie could have really blown us away with the shocking revelation, once the Rookie joined back up with Dare, (Who's the only one who actually exists), that he imagined everything, having bashed his head inside his pod when he landed.

Think about it, he never learned his true mission and spent hours wandering the desolate city streets, absolutely isolated from everyone but the Covenant with no contact for hours and hours.

His insanity would make sense, and offer an awesome new perspective in the form of Halo storytelling.

Think before you post

i wouldnt say thats a totally new perspective, i mean, theres been a couple of crazy soldiers already like on the flood levels, H1 where the marine with the pistol tries to kill you, H3 where the dude went mental cause he had to kill his infected squad, but i do agree that that would be a pretty intresting and cool perspective to play from, but im not sure how id feel about playing as a crazy person though

agreed, but the whole thing with him knowing was because the superintendent back-tracked and saw what happened and then notified the rookie where to go, techincally the rookie had no idea what's going on i think

If it moves, shoot it. If it screams in German, shoot it again.

and H3:ODST, but not to do with the flood, its coz he's delirious from being badly wounded. btw, i that part of Uplift Reserve, he is shouting random things, and then he and the medic/guy who is trying to help both randomly die for absolutely no reason. has this happened to anybody else? im not complaining, i get more ammo, but it would be nice to fight with some allies for once
