Hey guys,

I found a bunch of threads regarding the VX2260wm LCD monitor and everyone seems to think it is awesome and the best option for playing Halo 3 in HD. I don't know what is causing it, but I am definitely feeling some lag on it. I play with HDMI and for whatever reason I feel a small amount of lag, enough to make it uncomfortable vs playing on a tube tv. Does anyone else who has this monitor feel the same way? Maybe it is all in my head...

The 22" ViewSonic is viewed as "the best choice" because it is what is used at MLG events. The screen has a default of 5ms screen delay, plus whatever your video hookup adds.

To reduce your refresh rate, use VGA cords rather than HDMI. With VGA cords, adjust your video settings to either 1680x1050 (for 22") or 1920x1080 (for 23").

How would I adjust to 1680x1050?

He's talking about input lag, not response time. They're not the same thing.
