I used to play a lan party everyday last summer with old faithful halo ce. Little mutliplayer tricks i am going to tell you that give you the edge of the opposition.

Damnation= If you throw a sticky grenade in the right spot by the overshield it will blow both you and the shield off the level, gradually move towards it and if you grab it at the right time, you wont die and you can get to the bottom. Secondly you can get on top of this level by going above sniper (now you are on same level as pistol) go across the pipe and rocket jump up. Then there are a series of grenade jumps that can be performed to get you out. Plust when you teleport up top on sniper bridge, stay to the back left of the teleporter. This will still allow people to teleport giving you the easy assaination.

BloodGulch= I know three ways to get out, the most easy to perform is by going behind red base with a ghost and on the wall find a smooth surfface, and hold a and forward and you'll go up top. Park vehicles on top of teleports to render them useless or stay in the ghost and sit above the teleporter making so anyone who teleports through has instand death. Drive tanks into the overshield cave and it is impossible to get them out. If you are going from one base to another, with a ghost, it is possible to drive up the walkway on the right side of each base. Once up there just hit people as they spawn.

Chiron T1-34= you can grab shottie through the floor, and the teleporter with the rockets, you can back up and assinate people as they teleport.

There is also tricks in hang em high, battle creek, rat race, derelict, and prisoner that i know of, maybe even more i cant remember. However these would take to long to explain and most people still wouldnt understand. But if you play XBC send me a pm.

Bloodgulch= you can grab the sniper by jumping along the wall of the base while holding X. You don't have to get on top to pick it up. Also you don't need a vehicle to telecamp. Just stand on the pad and when you screen starts to turn white step back and melee. I had a blast doing this in Halo PC demo.

Hang 'em High= you can nade the sniper rifle and rockets to your position by knowing exactly where to aim in the ceiling.

Battle Creek= get an OS then quickly toss a nade by the teleport and jump. This is a quick way to get up to the roof of the base. Also applies to the OS in Damnation. Nade jump while the OS gives you those few moments of invulnerability to get access to the rocket launcher.

General tips and tricks...

Backpack reload. Press X, X and Y to pull out your secondary weapon while the other weapon is reloading.

Double melee. B, L trigger, B.

Fire a burst shot from you PR or AR after picking up an active camo to get camouflaged faster.

Crouch before you land to cushion your fall.

Halo CE > Halo 3 > Halo 2

Fix the Halo 3 BR spread, plz.

Damnation: If going through the teleporter, always go backwards. It prevents assassinations. I did it today. :>

These are all those 'Dirty Halo Tricks'... I'm loving it...

If you kinda want to play 'dirty' just for fun, here's this:

Shown on HBO.org, on Blood Gulch, drive a Warthog into a base. Back it up into there, though, so the gunner position is directly touching the back wall, and the Warthog is inside the doorway. Go around the base, and then get into the turret position. It will screw up the graphics and sections of the base will become transparent. So when an enemy runs through your base and nabs the flag, the wall will be transparent for you, and you can just gun him down. He can't shoot you through the wall, only you can shoot him.

Also, you can do this with the outside, so you shoot outside, and gun down any other enemies at least trying to get into the base.

You can also try backing a tank to the base wall then turning the turret 180 degrees. Cleans a base out fast!

Sidewinder= You can get a tank in the middle by powerups if you go up side on blue base side. You can ramp a ghost in top of base by hitting a tank positioned in front. Or if you get a tank on white mountains (blue bases teleport) you can get in a ghost and ramp on top of level.

Also in Chiron TI-34, if the overshield is there you can grab it and shoot the ground with rocket and boost up into a very small room above it.

In Chill Out once you are in the pistol room start to walk up the ramp and enter the room with the teleporter. Once there get on top or portal, then you can grenade jump on top of pipes and easily snipe down hallway with sniper in it. Or if you teleport by where the shotgun is, that pillar doesnt touch the ground so just crouch and shoot enemies(most likely they wont know where you are).

In Rat Race you can just shoot the powerups once with any gun and they will fall to the ground.

There is a great Sniping spot to the left side of blue base in blood gulch, walk on the perimeter of the level and you will see a slope that is impossible to identify from the base. Once in the little nook you can crouch to completely conceal your self of stand upright to snipe easily with only head showing. Also if you are sniping anywhere it is a good idea to get in the center of a bush, a lot harder to see you.

In boarding action there is a ramp on the fifth level that can get you up to a sixth level, (not that good if you play against good people, easy spot to get sniped)

very cool little tips! I've noticed the it is easier to tele camp on sidewinder because it has those 2 little corners next to it to hide with a shotgun in.
