When Halo PC is loaded my game menus, gamespy multiplayer listing, etc. act as if the corner of the menus were being grabbed and pulled across the screen. Any text on the screen flickers and jumps. While playing the game the ammunition meter, radar and any text that displays acts the same way. All other play seems to be normal during the game, except in CTF multiplayer games where the flags appear as if they are shooting colored light in all directions on the board.

I've recently purchased and installed an eVGA GeForce 6600GT video card to replace my FX5200 card, so I don't think my hardware is the problem. I've experienced these issues with both cards. It has also been the case through first playing the Halo PC demo that I downloaded and now the retail version that I recently purchased.

Can someone please help me determine how to resolve this?

Thanks.

Always make sure that your chip and mother board is more powerful than your graphics, that might be a solution. What about reinstalling the program ? Give that a go. Ask some one like Sexy Legs Davies, or Chewy, they are the men to their word.

That smells like your monitor can't handle what your card is putting out. You could try putting a different monitor on if you have a spare. Otherwise I don't know maybe someelse has a better idea
