Subject: How to become a pro?

Hey guys, i was just wondering how to become a pro sniper at halo 3. my other tag has 905exp in snipers with a 50 and i was just wondering, does exp determine if you are a sniper pro? im not talking about being an mlg pro by going to events, im just talking about the pros in a playlist like swat and snipers. because when i check my friends' bios they all say like 2655xp in snipes sniping pro! (example). any answers will be appreciated

I can't tell if he's trolling or just retarded in general...
Just because your friends put "SN1P3R PR0!!!1!//!?!" in their bio's, does NOT make them a Sniper Pro.

"Muffin button."
'But I didn't install a muffin button."
"Then where did I get this muffin?"

EDIT.

Well, I don't know who would consider you a pro for being really good at Snipers, but sure go for it. Exp doesn't mean you're a "pro", though, but if you have tons of Exp and can still manage a 50, that'd be pretty damn respectable.

If you really want to go pro, you're going to need to get a team together and try out at local tournaments. Do well and work your way up. Although, I don't know if going pro in Halo 3 this late in its lifetime is a good idea. Reach is just around the corner and MLG might be incorporated into it somehow.

Ah, I see. Well, I only read half of what he said, because I felt I got the gist of what he was trying to say. Little did I know I missed the crucial part about 2/3rds of the way through. Thanks for pointing that out. =D

I'm pretty sure to be a "pro" you have to have some sort of income due to your playing. If you aren't winning money and don't have sponsors, but you still destroy with the sniper, you aren't a "pro", you are just good.

"Where are you, God, you f.ucking f.aggot? Come and get me!" Neil Armstrong

i dont think anyone with 905 exp on a sniper 50 would ever let such thoughts go through his head, unless he lived in complete ignorance of the professional video gaming community and the prerequisites included in becoming a member of aforementioned community.

big words used in the wrong context lolwut ^

Exp doesn't really make you pro, what really matters is your Highest Skill. You know how exp is to gain in a playist, now highest skill, it takes skill.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Practice makes perfect. All I can say is that you should play with an experienced sniper to see how they play. Then try and do what they do. If you can't, then just ask them for help/tips and keep trying.
