Use to use the large but then I started using the S and haven't wanted to switch back.

Well the large just isn't good with me because I've always used the S and never switched.Plus S is better for Soul Calibur.

I like the fatty; it's like a good girlfriend: all the buttons are easily accessible.

I use the Controller S for now, but I can't wait to get my hands on one of those wireless Logitech units.

Eh. Jay doesn't care for third-party stuff after being underwhelmed more than enough times, and doesn't get all sweaty and nasty from playing Halo... Perhaps a swamp cooler for the whole room would be more useful.

Even with these smaller-than-average hands, everything on both versions is easy and comfortable to reach. Neither is perfect, but both of the official Microshaft ones are very comfortable to use. Jay found the overall size and shape changes interesting, but doesn't prefer one over the other. The button layout changes are a mixed blessing; Jay likes the smaller one's black and white button placement, but prefers the Duke's tighter grouping of the A, B, X, and Y buttons. A close grouping like on the Duke and black and white buttons placed like on the new one would be perfection...

Jay also likes how the controllers feel goodly solid- lighter ones like the PlayStation and Game Cube controllers now feel awkward by comparison.

They give the strange feeling that something's missing...
