A corpse within a corpse.
CORPSEPTION.
Win.

Trueskill is based on wins. Why actually is this? Why can it not be based on, as is implied, skill?

Skill and wins do directly correlate in FFA gametypes where you have to attain the highest number of kills (usually) to win.

In other game types, you can be saddled with a generally poor team or a team of derankers/genuine AFKs, and you lose and this costs you skill. If you are able to stay positive in KDR, and attain a high accuracy and a high number of headshots and high streak high avg life etc - why should that mean you lose skill for a loss?

Skill should increase with a players skill, not lost due to the inability of his team to perform. It also means that someone could in theory play AFK with a really good team and gain skill for their win if I have my facts right.

Thoughts?

IMPORTANT
Yes, I know Trueskill cannot be changed to a different system. This is entirely for your thoughts on the matter, why it should and shouldn't change.
