Liked it. My favorite part is after you get to Keyes, when you get to see the SpecOps teams fighting the Flood.

It's also my favorite Flood level. That, and 343 Guilty Spark.

I've made it my life goal to never become too stressed. So if I appear to be doing nothing all the time and generally never working particularly hard on any task, that's my plan in action.

Loved it, did the challenge on Legendary with the endless Flood spawning before you jump down into the goop.

I really liked that level, the grunt being chased by that headless, armless flood was funny.

  • 09.04.2010 10:27 AM PDT

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

I didn't want to jump into the crevasse...

I didn't want to jump into the crevasse...

The first time I played the level, I accidentally fell through the hole because I didn't think there would be anything there.

I was relieved when a cutscene started playing instead of me dying an embarrassing death. :D

I felt the same way. At first I was like, are you sure you want me to jump down? It is awfully high, what if I die? Haha, man that level was cool.

Ha, whenever I get to that part in the level, I try to find ways to get over the gap into the hangar behind it. I have yet to suceed, but it looks possible. I usually miss the other side of the hangar by a few inches.

What are you, playing beside me ? I still do that, even to this day. It seems so utterly possible. The game is being cruel. Ah...what a game...

I was good til i had to jump I then had no idea what was happening and died every few seconds.

Use a plasma grenade, because while they hurt you pretty badly, they're more controllable than frags and still good enough for the jump. Do the jump on the right side. Aim for that spit of land behind the covenant crate. Crouch for the landing.

It's an interesting area. It's like the T&R bay, but the doors are funny and locked (even though they appear unlocked), it's crazy empty, and the walkways on the opposite side are strangely chopped off. Not really anything to do there, though.

Did you know that after you find Keyes, if you look at him after the cutscene you can find his pipe?

I agree but for me my favorite level was when you first land on halo, so much fun sniping grunts with the pistol. I swear, I must have played that level about 100 times and I'm still not sick of it.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I loved it! It was always dark and The Flood would crawl out of the water. So scary..

I rather liked it, the drama of hearing keyes' random screams and ordering 117 to leave, and when you see the captain in the proto-gravemind/brainform, not as sad as it should have been, seeing as you dont get to know him much, as a person, another thing you know about Jacob keyes is that he has an AWFUL habit of getting kidnapped. =(

This mission did a lot for me. Numerous 3-way fights, Infinite Spec Ops at the end, Flood Assault, and who can forget causing the epic Bridge Mayhem?

"Don't mistake your rank and number for superiority.

It was awesome but when I saw Keyes' face in the Proto-Gravemind I said "what the heck" and then I saw the Chief punch him in the face and I said "that is so nasty but so awesome!"

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Probably my favorite level out of any game i've ever played.

I just LOVED getting to an area and see Spec Op Elites, Spec Op Grunts, Hunters, Jackals fighting hordes of Flood.

There's no other level like it.

Took me a while to figure out that the Health Pack landing was a red herring. But really, there is nothing there on the other side; I might try co-op launching to get on a higher platform as there's nothing to do once you get over there.

Non facete nobis calcitrare vestrum perinæum.

The Spec Ops team that busts in after you get the codes kicks my ass every single time. Other than trying to beat/run past them every time its a pretty good level.

The trick here is to lure the Covenant out about 5 seconds after you get the codes. This way, the Grunts throw their grenades just as the Flood open the doors, and begin fighting each other, while you are safely running away, watching explosions and bodies fly every which way.
