Subject: was the BR overpowered in Halo 2?

Halo 2 for Life!

When you quad or double shot your curser becomes stationary and you dont have control of the fire to move it in the location of the person. You have to place the curser where they are and hope they dont move or try to predict where they are going and place the curser their and fire. Same with BXR Once you commit you cant control it, you have to move in that direction and fire in the direction as you due the button combo, so if you miss you are leaving yourself suseptible to attack. In that way I think it's balanced even with the button combos.

I always thought if it was used ''correctly'' it was balanced. The thing that made it overpowered was the glitches that people used to do with it.

I never used the thing though, I was always one going for a shotgun, sniper, or rockets.

Agreed. The BR (used normally) was a pretty balanced weapon. If someone is BXRing or quad-shotting, then the BR becomes very powerful and is definitely not balanced.

You were the king, now you're unconscious.

If you knew how to BxR then it usually was. You basically had a shotgun if you could do that effectively. I loved it though.

A shotgun? The shotgun in H2 isn't very good if your not host lol. It's sorta a guessing game, you had to measure your shot based on the lag lol.

It was balanced if you didn't double or quad shot.
That being said, I didn't mind BxR.
