Forgerish

I'm just wondering, I have found a guy who "Snaps" and gets kills on people he isn't looking at on SWAT, (I am not saying his gamertag because it is against the rules). What are the signs of a aimbot?

Aim bot dudes get kills pretty much every time they pull the trigger. If that was not the case it was probably just lag + a good player that you ran into.

Running into people that actually use aimbot is rare - this hack is auto detected and users of aim bot get banned really quick.

Forgerish

He only died by assassinations and people shooting him from behind, and there were times where he would randomly shoot and kill enemy's. I was on his team, so I could only see via theatre what was going on. At the end of the game, the frustrated enemy team T-bag'd the hell out of him. :D

Be just and fear not.

One telltale sign is that a weapon is firing in a completely different direction than it's aiming, and continues to fire in that direction (always on target, of course) no matter how or where the person moves:

Check and see the after game stats. If he got as many headshots as kills, then he might. Of course for Swat that may not be the case.

A wise man once said, "Treat every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away."

Someone will be looking not directly at you, but when they pull the trigger, their aim snaps right to your head right before they shoot.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Trigger pull = kill.

Insane amount of kills (mostly, if not all, headshots), teammates not having so much. Having very few deaths, and the opposing team's score being pretty low.

If you have to even ask then you haven't seen an aimbot..

You will KNOW when it happens.

Anyone notice that he has infinite ammo, too?

In halo it wouldn't be considered AimBot. AimBot is were they're reticule actual locks onto the targets head and doesn't leave. In Halo it's actually called AutoAim, were it just guides the bullets to the persons head even though there not looking at you...

A good sign is to look at their service record or their name for any hints to modding. Also, if they never reload or kill you when they don't necessarily look at you they may have aimbot.

I played a dude whose name was a website for modding. He would kill level 45's+ at swat like they were nothing. He never reloaded, ran out in the wide open and charged people(sign of a noob, no offence to anyone) and his shots "bent" in our direction.

This was not a laggy game and he went plus 43 K/D!!!
