Halo 3 is my favorite video game, at least until reach is out.

You just start playing a matchmaking game. You do REALLY REALLY good, but then the next game you play after that, your garbage?

Like today..
I got an overkill, a sniper spree, killing spree, 3 double kills, and a triple in snipers,
and then i got 6 kills the next game.

Ah it happens to every one.

"I'll tell you right now, if you ever see someone called ll wa1do ll... leave the game immediately. My friend knows him, I've been in his party a few times, do not mess with this guy. From what I've heard, he's the real deal. I also heard someone made a guy named Wa2do (similar to his name) and then he hacked that guy and boosted off his level." -From Minou on Bungie.net

No? Maybe you need to eat more so you play better.

Maybe it's just the people you were playing with?

Thats exactly what it is, if you have a bad team, then you'll most likely do badly.

Its happened to me plenty of times.

It's just statistics, called regression toward the mean. You'll also find that when you have a terrible game, your next game tends to be better.

Onyx pre-season! That's all that matters.

Current United States Marine Corps Poolee/Recruit

Sometimes a person who does much better than normal in a game will experience an "adrenaline high". This is common in video gamers and sports players. The person gets a "natural high" and as such loses tiny details that could be critical in pulling a standard move. Being off the high and in a slum can also be bad as you aren't so much as focusing on the move as much as focusing on preventing the other player from moving.

I recommend that after an REALLY good game, like +20 K/D, play a fun custom game or join Action Sack. This will remove most of the "high" in your system and you'll see an improvement in overall game play.

Its also statistically bound to happen as Zaltyre said. A normal distribution where your default skill is in the middle will have "tails" where it is significantly lower. This is where your good and bad games affect you.

So medically and statistically you know.

To answer your question though: Yes.
