It's about time Host 3 is dead. Finally.

Now we can all move onto Reach where host/connection won't make as big of a difference.

Yay

Don't worry: Reach will carry the torch for the next 3 years (or more) :)

Yeah, what ^ Said.
Halo 3 was a legendary game, it was the start of, maps, screenshots, and a hell a lot of other things. Since most of its features will be carried through into reach, you probably wont end up forgetting the awesome-ness of halo 3.

190 thousand isn't dieing...

Good riddance to that awful string of code.

The game really showed its age since the beta. I can predict exactly how each game will play out most of the time and it always involves 4 or more people quitting in Social Slayer.

The game was always broken. But since something so much more refined is on the horizon, we didn't notice it until now.

Quit ban = Greatest thing Bungie has ever created, next to Halo.

Hidden Truskill = Just as great.

Nice One! I Love Bungie!

The population thing has been the same for whenever i've been online. Halo used to have about 600,000 + a day and it's dropped far below it.

"Providing targets for clear headshots since 2009"

It's to be expected. The game IS almost 3 years old, and a massive sequel is coming out in just a few days.

I was surprised to see squad battle go before team snipers though. Now there's no ranked large team list at all.

Boredom Spree for all!!!!!

RFMD!!!

And it seems that the players that are left are betraying more than ever.

R.I.P Halo 3.

"Oh, I know what the ladies like..." - Sgt Johnson

"We ain't gonna bury him... buzzards gotta eat, same as a worm..." - Clint Eastwood

It's all good... I can still remember the the Halo CE lan parties, with great fondness. Then, Halo 2 comes out and on-line play took over, and I was sad for the end of CE. Then, Halo 3 came out, and eventually Bungie ended Halo 2 on-line support, more sadness.

It's like the end of a week of vacation at the beach. You're sad when it's over, but the memories give you a warm tingly feeling, and you can't wait for the next vacation to get here!

Halo 3 is not the end of an era. Halo 2 was and you all know it.

Something tells me you were horrible in Halo 2 as well.

Also, I couldn't care less about this game dying.

Nobody cares what you think
