After playing 8 minutes straight of double flag shottys without a single flag capture and the enemy's flag RESETING while we were in position to cap a flag, I wanted to know what the community thinks about double flag shottys.
I really hope I don't play it ever again, because there were three major issues I did not like.
First off, even with the whole team recovering the flag, it takes at least one minute to cap, which is more than enough for the enemy to get us with a grenade.
Second off, there are grenades, yet no shields. So every frag grenade thrown at you will hit you with splash damage great enough to kill you. This makes it impossible to recover flags. And stick grenades might as well be rockets.
And third, if you and an opponent are at point blank range, ultimately whoever lives is the host. I'm usually not host, if you catch on.
I usually would not post this because it's just as competitive as swat team and this would just mean I suck at flag shottys. But this is in ACTION SACK. This is supposed to be the recreational part of matchmaking. Yet I've quit every single match of double flag shottys.
The main point of this thread is that double flag shottys SHOULD NOT BE IN ACTION SACK. Or at least it shouldn't have grenades.
