So does anyone else feel like if they play ODST they need to turn off the lights and hide? everyone seems to say it's uncomplete and too short ect... I think even if short it was a fun campain, and without a matchmaking firefight is still fun. is anyone else with me here?

People are just butt hurt about it not being a Halo 4.

ODST is one of the best Halos next to the first two for me. It was a lot more difficult and fun than H3 and it was nice to know how it felt to be vulnerable in the Halo series. It brought me back to the good times of Halo CE and I believe it was a vital steping stone to get people used to Reach.

Guide to immortality : Sleep with Life

I had a pretty big time thread once.

Here's me bragging about it.

I loved ODST. Firefight was awesome, and it has kept me occupied for Reach. I've played it more than Halo 3 recently.

ODST was actually my favorite campaign followed very very closely by Halo 2. People just look down on ODST because its not 'a full game'. No need to hide though! Spread the ODST joy!

I feel the same way. My only regret with ODST was that it turned so many people off from the Halo series. Kinda lame that their faith was shattered by one mediocre(In their eyes, not mine) game.

uh your "stamina" in ODST was actually more effective than the spartan shields in halo 3. The "stamina" could absorb more damage than shields. Oh and "stamina"? really? I thought you would just have a life bar that health packs would replenish. or maybe a bar for armor and a bar for health. I thought you would replenish armor by picking up armor off dead marines and in ammo stashes. They could have done better than "stamina".....

I found stamina fitting to the game. I mean shields are a core feature to a Halo game, you know eveyone's gonna be even more butt hurt if the shield mechanic is out. That alone helps distinguish the series from the rest of the FPS's out there. Anything else would look right. I would have been a little angry to find out that the UNSC decided to give 6 ODSTs the ability to generate shields. Maybe stamina was more effective than spartan shields, but I find my stamina popping more than my shields. And lets face it, most of us wouldn't make it to the 2nd or 3rd wave without stamina. And they would have to liter the map with health packs to supplement. Making the health bar larger would just ruin the Experience of being a vulnerable ODST.

I love the campaign of ODST.

Let me hear you sound off
Let them know how you feel
If the anger inside is real
Sound off
Long before the bridges are burned
The powers to be are going to hear your words

I liked ODST's campaign much more than Halo 3's and Firefight is really fun.
