We see the testicles in your heart.

Hi everybody!
I'm Game design student, currently taking a level design course.
I'm wondering, is there any statistics about which levels in Halo 3 that are the most popular?
If there is, why are just those levels so popular?

Also, please tell me which level that you enjoy playing the most, preferably with a short motivation!

I'f someone can direct me a great source of information about the subject, please do. That would be awesome.
And, if by any chance some you demi-gods who actually created this wonderful game is reading this post, i'd love some first hand information.
Yeah, and please excuse my english.

Well all the maps are good for different gametypes- you'll notice that some maps are very square, symmetrical and arena-like, these are used for the more 'pro' games. Some are aesthetically pleasing but awkward to move around in due to their Asymmetry. Narrows, Construct and The Pit are symmetrical maps, the latter being completely symmetrical. Longshore, Guardian, Blackout and Orbital are all Asymmetric.

The MLG playlist uses only the 'Pro' maps; several maps have been made in Forge mode for MLG exclusively, such as Lockdown, Onslaught and Amplified.
And although these maps are user-created and not made by Bungie, they are perfectly crafted to ensure maximum symmetry and even game-flow, especially considering MLG event prize-funds can go to $100,000; you wouldn't want to be robbed of that by a dodgy grenade bounce off a poorly made surface.

You can find hundreds or maybe thousands of user-created maps on different peoples fileshares, and on this site, in 'Community files'.
http://www.forgehub.com is a fan-made site with all the maps you could ever want, and tutorials for maps making techniques of all types.

My personal favourite? Either Guardian or The Pit. They are both awesome. Hope this lot of hot air helps =)
