You know what? I think Achronos likes being superior. He likes to rub it in our puny little faces.

You see, normal people post the quote first and then their response. But no Achronos! He has to be on top all the time! And of course, he has to have the answer to everything. Hmph. If you ask me, I think we should have a much more humble Overlord....Someone like me for example.

Anyway, what's this thread about?

XD

anyway, the word noob should be blamified. and i think people complaining about the so-called 'noob combos' and 'noobish weapons'(sword, rocket)she be against the rules as well. the weapons in the game are there to be used. if you get killed by one of these combos or weapons, its your own fault. you're the one who wasnt smart enough to get them for yourself.

I guess it's because life isn't fair. Just like how Bungie faithful have to suffer through Live sessions with simpering, food-nipple-sucking hypocrites like you.

...and somehow the bodies of thousands of their fallen comrades failed to suggest to them that something... was wrong...

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Actually, Bungie didn't make the Noob rule. the Mods did, and they recieved Bungie's support on it. There was too much flaming going on using the word "noob" I assume, so they decided to illegalize that word. Just a bit of Bungie.net history for you.

Why are words like "the n word" and profanity banned from the forums if Halo 2 is rated mature. If these people were mature wouldn't they be able to handle profanity and the horrifying "n word"? A lot of people that play this game should be called the "n word" because all they can kill with is stuff that doesn't require any practice. Post your opinions about these banned words.

The game is rated mature, but that doesn't mean that Bungie.net is rated mature and it definetly doesn't keep small children from playing the game, or making trouble here...

Although halo 2 is rated mature, this rating applies only to the US, for the majority of the world, it has no rating whatsoever, and this is a forum on the internet, so is accessible by the whole world. And besides, this isnt a halo 2 forum, but a bungie forum.

MadWhiteFish, with an A for the 4 and an E for the 3.

You are not a 16. You are not a 25. You are not a 30, and you are not a damn 43. You are a person, and you sound like a moron.

I'd like to see "-blam!-", "-blam!-" and "noob" in all its forms -blammed!-

what kills me is that people get mad when you call the pp br combo a n%$# combo. I mean seriously that is the online slang for it. If I yell N*&^ COMBO as I die I'm simply calling the weapons comming through the area I was set to watch.

it takes too long to say "I have a plasma pistol and battle rifle combination comming around on the back side of the base".

how is n*&# combo offensive but the nine miles of profanity used by the same people who complain about it NOT?

You know, he's the only person I know of that does that. But coincidentally enough, not the only member I know of that does that. ;-)

And the Lord did grin. And he held forth thy holy hand grenade and "said, O Lord throw this at thine enemies who have been naughty in thine sight, that it may blow them into tiny bits, in thy mercy."

lol. I love that movie, but yes Psyched, you speak the truth. Oh sorry, this is a 4em. U sp33k 73h 7ru7h.

I'd say that it's more like 75% is. At least. See, once people are 20+ they start getting a life. And that life leaves little room for bnet and halo. Oh man it would be sweet to have a life again.

Last time i checked this site isn't rated m for muture and it isn't a democracy. Also having a name like yours will just lead to flames because bungie made halo 2 and are very proud of the fact that it's a great game and has the highest single day gross of any media product.

Indeed. It is very tempting to diss him and prove him wrong about the whole H1>H2 thing.

Well I still prefere Halo overall but I love how easy it is to jump into a btb and play with 15 other people with my own screen and surround sound. At LAN parties I still mostly play Halo but it's a big achievement to still be no1 on xbl almost a year after it's release and still be attracting 300000 players a day. To have a name like Halo2Hater will just lead to me not taking him seriously.

Wow, mature language, opinions not stated as fact.

Do you think Ni should be blamified?

"What sad times are these that passing strangers may say 'Ni' to an old woman at will?"

  • 09.24.2005 4:16 PM PDT

I'll be on my own side.

The profanity filter would probably not be needed if people actually obeyed the ESRB and not bought games like GTA and Halo for their 11-year old son.

Then again, one thinks that if said 11-year old was on Xbox Live, they get exposed to enough profanity as it is, so a forum wouldn't make much of a difference to them. Besides, profanity is now commonplace. Not sure if that's good or bad.

Jesus loves you, even if you don't believe it.

I never understood why they'd call the PP-BR combo the "n combo"...
I mean, its the only way to get anywhere in Legendary. Why would a player going through Legendary be using the combo if its a n-combo?!?
Doens't make sense. I get killed by it in live all the time, when I don't have it of course ^_^
