So...about beating the game...hasn't happened for me yet. I don't know if I just lost interest or what...but it isn't beat. Sometime...not now...but sometime, I plan to finish it. Discuss. :)

Think before you post

I don't think....putting periods...in between phrases...makes it funnier...what is there to discuss?

LOL.

ODST was the worst campaign I have ever played. OP, save yourself time and just don't bother. If I could go back in time and not buy this game/waste several hours playing the campaign, I would. Just wait for Reach.

Game is good It was well put together and thought out. Don't listen to the "true" fans because they hate the game because it had no optimatch and no spartans or some other stupid -blam!-.

If you like good stories and some good old fashind Halo (ODST resembles Halo CE more than any other in gameplay style.

Do your research first look at videos etc.

To me it was a must have.

The story was completely unnecessary. We learned nothing from ODST. It was scrappy, and should of stayed a expansion. Even Bungie said they'd redesign the levels if they were to do it again. It hardly gave the feel of a overrun city.

I don't care for the Multiplayer. The campaign just sucked.

Yes, the gameplay is similar to CE at first, but after just finishing the Halo CE campaign on Legendary (On the Xbox) it's quite obvious that they don't play the same. They are a lot different.

If you're looking for something close to CE gameplay wise, with the exception of armour abilities, Reach comes closer than any other Halo game.

Actually you did learn somthing while playing ODST you learned what was going on Earth while MC was doing his master of the universe thing in space on another halo ring and on high charity.

You were told what happened in Halo 3 anyway.
It was completely irrelevant.

So in halo 3 we knew that a small team of ODST's and a ONI spook saved one peice of inteligence (the enginer) that could allow them to advance human tech to be on par with covenant tech also found out what the covenant wanted by going down there also that they were planning to invade the covenant battleship with drop pods. This was to tell you waht was going on from a human side not a spartan side. And yes wer were told some of this in Halo 3 but to go through it and to be told what was going on are 2 differnt things.

I came here to have an outburst about hating ODST. I even made my own thread.
Oh, and it's not trolling to have a different opinion.
Deal with it.

Tulsk

I liked ODST .. I think it's a refreshing change of pace from H3. I've pretty much been exclusively playing that lately.

ODST was very short though and you can only play firefight so much until the game starts to bore you
