Over 19,000,000 people have played halo (Online alone)
Consider the following;
-The game you are berating has not even been out 1 year yet.
Halo 3 has been out for 3.
-Halo 3 has had more second/multi accounts than any other game before it because of rank obsession and for griefing purposes. So it would be a very same assumption that nearly HALF of the 19,000,000 players listed are not new players at all, just merely alt accounts.
No not even close to half. You don't know what you're talking about. Do you have proof of that? Call of Duty games have second accounts once you hit 10th prestige as well.
It's a well known fact that many have 2nd, 3rd, 14th accounts. Multitudes of 1 month cards have been burned on making a 'for fun' account. Easily nearly half. The majority of the 1 account people have A) moved on some time ago, B) are still playing the game. There is no possible way to validate my theory, but I am very optimistic that I am not far off of my estimate.
The 10th prestigers in MW2 are not making that many new accounts, they don't need to. Many boosted to get there anyhow, and they get matched against green players all the time anyhow since there is no balance in the MM system there. There is no benefit for them to begin again since the MM system is not set up on skill.
