I dont hate it, I think it is by the far the greatest disappointment in the entire series.
The forging is amazing, true a bit single themed (valhalla), but it offers great forging features. Cool campaign (I hope). The entire "perk" buisness is just plain idiotic, and ruins the entire gameplay, which doesnt help the game much, because lets face it, sprinting and halo dont mix, the multiplayer gameplay is atorcious at best.
Its just so cluttered with too much childish things goin on at once. Jetpacks, and overshields on command, people rolling around everywhere, its chaotic and unorganized.
I do not understand where the undeserved hype, from the millions of beta drone testers, is coming from. Lets quit viewing the game with our "oh look a new halo game thats so cool, because its a new game, and its halo"-goggles.. and try to point out the flaws instead.
I was excited at first... then I played the beta, then I died a little bit on the inside. I cant imagine who was the moron who decided to murder what could have been perhaphs one of the best games in a long time, with worthless features such as sprinting. I dont need it, I never needed it, I never will need it, I think bungie needed to have jumped off the sprinting bandwagon and stick to what they do best, halo, not call of duty meets sci-fi.
If halo reach would run just like halo 3's control (engine?), and without all those stupid perks, it would have been amazing, but no.
So all in all, I do not hate reach, I hate call of duty, which is what reach is, only in the future. thank you bungie, for disappointing me and giving to me what has already been done, over, and over, and over to death.
And to those crying about SWAT grow up and get a 50 in it already, quit blaming everyone else for your lack of skill in that certain gametype.
