Subject: The Rookie in Landfall?

In time, this blood supply will change me from red to white.

so i was watching the live action halo short landfall and noticed something interesting. i noticed that one of the two initial ODSTs that you see has the blood type O+ on his shoulder. (he'll be the one who ends up driving the warthog.) well in ODST, the rookie, when on data hive, has a cutscene where he meets up with dare and you see his shoulder piece saying O+ as well. now this could all be coincidental but, the time frame is right. odst ends right where halo3 begins and the rookie was an important, even hidden, ONI asset. so for him to be on the mission to track the chiefs landing position as he fell into earth is quite possible. unfortunately, if it is the rookie in landfall, this is where he dies. a gravity hammer wielding chieftain hits him into a wall and blood from his head splatters behind him. so could this be the rookie? idk, but it does seem possible.

thoughts?

It's possible ( as Bungie seem to like in-game references and links) but as far as I'm aware O+ is the most common blood type so lots of ODSTs would have it (if they weren't fictional).

PS - good eye for detail BTW
