Subject: Myth among low ranks in halo 3?

Posted by: Xirifus477
I've been around these forums for some time, and I have always tought about it, but never said (or typed, actually) it out loud;

What is this big deal about having "a 50"? What's so special about it? Okay, I get it, e-peen, but people actually buy them? If it's such a big deal why buy it, when you could earn it yourself?

There ya go, now I said it... and I just don't get it, I play the game to have fun, not to have skill 50... Are there any people that actually play games to actually have fun nowdays?

Sorry if I got a bit off-topic here, but I.. I just.. I don't get it. So, can someone PLEASE tell me why "having a 50" is a good/cool/whatever thing? (besides the e-peen, of course..)

I'm just a competitive person in every facet of life.

So naturally if I do something, I want to be the best at it.

You guys have like 12 more hours to argue about how much a 50 means so I would get it while the gettins good.

Is Yours truly in your crew? I remember he used to play with us when he was a brig gen. Then Inferno brought him to the darkside and on WL.
