ADD YOURS IF MISSING

1- Bring back Fall-Damage and Health; this makes the game more realistic, and not the fantasy of god like super-human abilities; which makes it seem unfair when all your squad troopers die next you.

2- Incredible AI for elites...Realism, Difficulty and Strategy is the main focus of great game play; makes you think instead of blazing through hoping not to get killed.

3- 2 sec sprint, fall & roll, peak around corners,
4- 5 sec burst jetpack (get up in high places),
5- 5% to 20% wider field of view in visor setting
6- Bigger open areas in campaign (like Halo CE)
7- BUNGIE NEEDS TO REDISTRIBUTE HALO 1 WITH NO CHANGES OTHER THAN MAKE IT ONLINE ENABLED!!!!!!

8- Directional Noise Sensor, which direction where speech, weapons fire or explosions are coming from

9- Foliage for hiding
10- Guerilla warfare against 100s of Bots,
11- Huge nonlinear campaign maps with better AI bots
12- I would hope that Bungie would make a difficulty level above Legendary, that one unlocks and one can custom establish the number of enemies per each level up to an INSANE number (10% to 1000% increase in enemies).

13- Increase the number of enemies relevent to the number of CO-OP players
14- Levels need to be large, detailed and semi interactive...like if a grenade blows up on the ground a new crater is generated, thus creating a new place to hide. Etc.

15- Longer single player mode with a GREAT ending
16- MA5B assault rifle from Halo 1
17- Magnum with scope
18- More stealthy bits like in the beginning of Halo when you have to avoid the Covenant forces when you crash land on the ring

19- Night vision on sniper weapon,
20- Non-lethal concussion mine to flip a vehicle, show incoming enemy position, move heavy objects

21- Non-scripted battles, in halo2 you could memorize the entire game!!!!! I want something new every time I play.

22- OFFLINE 4 player splitscreen campaign CO-OP
23- ONLINE 2 split screen campaign CO-OP
24- Play only as Master Chief (NO arbiter)
25- Portable defense turrets (heavy, slower walking) manned or automated
26- Prone position for hiding and sniping,
27- Random environmental events during gameplay (dusk to night, night to dawn, rain, fog, ice, snow, lava, meteor shower, earthquakes, trains, dangerous machinery movements, etc)

28- Remote ground sensor placement (movement, sound) adds radius to in-helmet movement sensor when close to it

29- Smoke grenades...
30- Visor settings like thermal and night vision...
31- Voice indicator on radar
32- We need an infantry machine gun, like the M-249 SAW...
33- What would be good is if you can put your gun away and realistically dash

60- MP -Defend the base (Hamburger Hill) against Covenant BOTS, Teams of Players working together to defend different sections of the base from the onslaught of wave after wave of covenant warriors, countdown timer (5min) used for extraction plane to arrive.

Since each attacking wave is bigger than the one preceding it, good players will kill sooner the bots thus increasing the difficulty level because they would have battle more waves of increased amount of BOTS.

Medals base on number and types of kills or assists (bragging rights, "YES, I Killed 500 BOTS, Try to top that!")

In the end flying away, seeing the carnage left behind with the satisfaction of a big team battle.

Maybe something similar to the Alien vs. Predator movie, Predator (MC) defending the top of the pyramid while hundreds of Aliens (covenant) crawling up the sides trying to reach you at the top.

Even though he has the wrong forum thats a good list..i didnt go through all of it but the putting the gun away and running was good and the portable turret was 2 as long as u walked slow and it took like 5 sec. to drop ...for multiplayer that would be awesome...something like zombies, u just move it into a room in foundation

I dont know if you listed this or not but they need to keep record of how many enemies you kill in campaign

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

And a few of those don't make sense. For instance- a jetpack? MC, in his armor, weighs a little under a ton. That would have to be one hell of a jetpack. And why would the magnum have a scope? It's a pistol!

News Flash: MC has a health bar. It is just not shown, he's not invincible. How come he dies quicker when his shields are taken down a 2nd time?
Second of all, why should there be fall damage? He has a mark VI; don't you think he'd be a bit stronger now?

Halo 2 and Halo 1 do require strategy. You don't just charge. You already have to think.

1--2 seconds sprint is not much of an improvement.
2--Fall & Roll? Kinda hard to pull off in first-person.
3--Jetpack defeats the purpose of getting on top of levels and exploring them. It won't be fun anymore.
4--Why a wider field of view? It's already on a realistic view setting.
5--There ARE big areas in Halo 2. Play Delta Halo and Quarantine Zone again, and tell me what you think again.

So what you're saying is, you want another Halo:CE. BORING! That's the point of a Halo 3; so that it is a different game.

Considering all the noise and explosions in the Halo series, this feature would crowd the visor far too much.

2--There have been battles with 100's of bots; just not in one area.
3--Nonlinear campaign? What am I missing? What was so bad about Halo 2's campaign?

Grenades cannot make craters.

1--I get the feeling you disliked Halo 2's ending. It's called a CLIFFHANGER; it's supposed to suck. So you buy halo 3.
2--What's wrong with the SMG? If you played the game, you'd know how good a weapon the SMG can be.

I like many of these ideas. But I get the feeling you wanted a second Halo CE.

Fall damage is what's unrealistic, in the books, the spartans jumped from a pelican at supersonic speeds and survived, one guy blew a tree apart but wasn't all that injured. And health is realistic in a sense, but the health bar would be about as short as it is in halo 2 because one plasma burst melts the armor.

A realistic difficulty would be where two plasma pistol shots almost kills you and two BR shots drops an elite with full shields.

Nice idea, I take it you have a mono set up then? Surround sound would be your best friend for detecting where sound came from. A sensor would go off all the time in multiplayer, single player would be useful in some places, and multiplayer MAYBE sometimes, one on one most likely, when else would you take the time to look at this sensor?

It's called the SMG, bungie most likely wont add the Pistol back, and they wont make the two main weapons both rifles. Plus if the AR was the main weapon again, I would hate it, NO skill required, just spraying and spraying till you hit something. I dont want the BR either, i want a NEW wepon.
