Man, I just tried running New Alexandria using RC's banshee in the hospital method...

I guess I timed it horribly wrong, because it never teleported me out, and I was stuck inside, and the doors to outside were closed shut.

Did it happen to be the last jammer you were going to, by chance?

Yep.

Thats why it didn't work. It needs to be either the 1st or second objective otherwise there is nothing to deload the hospital. If its the last objective you've got, you need to walk out.

While practicing for my "real" Mythic run for ONI by doing the weekly and just playing around, I came across a pretty easy way to get past the "chokepoint" Elite right before the Atrium that I've been able to get to work pretty consistently. Maybe you guys already know it, but I didn't want to read back through 120 pages to find out LOL.

After killing the three grunts, run along the right wall and stop at the end where the little section of wall comes out. After a couple of minutes, Kat will stop fighting the Elite and meander over across from you against the other wall beside the unbreakable window section and just stand still there. After a minute, the Elite will get quiet. When you quietly walk around the corner and head for him, his back is usually turned to you and he is facing the closed blast door to the Atrium. Easy assassination.

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Best Regards,
The Tyrant

I see. ;)
You just reminded me iwth that Mass Driver segment how stressful Mythic is. DId you ever die at the end? I did, 3 times. :(

It made beating that level the ultimate accomplishment.

I'm happy to say that the first time I reached the Mass Driver, on Mythic, I was successful. Since then, I have beaten the mission on Mythic an additional 3 times. Within those three times, however, yes, I have indeed been offed by many an angry vessel. Argh!

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

I suck hard at this game. I used your Mythic guide to help me beat Legendary, I died too much on your Legendary guide xD

Nice man. While I do miss the thrill of Mythic, its just too time consuming for me to go back and repeat. I'm just real happy I was pre-guide this time around. Feels good. :)
Great community to be a part of too, although as I said in the group I've been busy so I've been neglecting it.

That's a sometimey thing. I use part of your tactic to let him get into it with Kat. Once he's totally distracted by Kat, I just get into a melee battle with him and circle him until he's dead. I've waited 10+ to find the right time to strike. The problem with your theory is that Kat doesn't always give up running after him. When you think things have calmed down, she'll go and stir up the hornet over and over. Hanging out in that corner is a good idea to wait to either pepper him with the green plasma or try to get close enough to begin the melee/assassination dance with him.

Hey RC Master, I was wondering if there was any other way to hijack a banshee in New Alexandria because I tried your way, and I either get burned to death with blue plasma cannons, or fall to my death. =(

If you get the dance club first, you can grab the Jet Pack underneath the DJ, then just wait for a banshee, jump out, jetpack and line up your board.

Er... what do you mean my way? I've done it several different ways. If you mean the way in the Youtube tutorial, thats not reccomended. What I do in my speedrun is much easier (grab a PP, park up on top of the hospital tower, overcharge one down when they come over)

Why not? I like sharing things that my friends might be interested in. I gathered that my Mythic friends would likely see it in this thread, but perhaps some wouldn't.

Anyways, still room to improve 2-3 min in the initial fight, second airstrike, and concussion jump unless new skips are found, like boosting into the elevator w/o killing the hunters or glitching through the door to the wraiths somehow.

When the dust settles, you will learn what true terror is.

Well, so much for my plans for a speedrun on ONI. I don't think I could beat THAT time... Still, got it queued for the DL. I'll see what you pulled off, and I'll put together my alternate starting strategy I've been working on into a clip sometime soon.

You can definitely do faster, but its still insane.

I had another go at ONI today on mythic. Tried your way with the ghost first, but died at the AA gun. Did it again Tyrants way in 1 hour 20 min, but the film only goes for 1 hour 10 min or something. Odd.

So many things went wrong, but it all came together in the end.
